Diamond burnishing tool St8-10-47-20S is used for finishing hardening
external spherical surfaces.
The position of the indentor eliminates the possibility of underrun to the wall or bottom of the workpiece and provides burnishing directly to the adjacent wall.
The minimum diameter of the spherical surface to be machined is 16 mm.
Mirror-like metal surface.
Supplied with a square shank 25*25 mm.
The tool is used on CNC machines and turning-and-boring machines that can provide finish turning (Ra 1,25 and higher)!
Natural diamond indentors (PA) are used.
The roughness before machining is no more than Ra = 1.25 microns.
An example of parts: hydraulic cylinders, mounting surfaces in bearing housing.
External coolant inlet, into the deformation zone (or internal coolant inlet of coolant on request).
Diamond burnishing (AB).
WARNING!!
The tool is not used for burnishing Titanium, Niobium, Zirconium materials due to the high toughness of the material!!!!
The quality of chrome plating can be improved by diamond smoothing of its surface. This treatment seals the surface layer and eliminates tight joints of chrome plated parts due to the presence of microcracks in the chrome.
Tools and accessories for machine tools and machines for tool-free metal working.
Diamond smoothing allows to increase the surface hardness of dies and punches to more than 1500 NV.
The surface roughness of the tool surface is reduced to Ra 0.1 µm.
The depth of the hardened layer is 200...250 microns.
Optimization of surface microrelief will additionally increase die durability
