Diamond burnishing tool for machining plane surfaces.

The burnishing tool is used for superfinishing plane metal surfaces on conventional and CNC milling machines.

ST-11 tools can be used in both large and small areas and are ideal for small batch production.

Diamond burnishing tool of milling type can perform quality finishing of continuous surfaces, the tool does not process non-continuous surfaces.

The tools are supplied preloaded. The spring pressure can be adjusted to provide the same pressure on the workpiece surface, ensuring repeatability from part to part.

Flatness and absence of height differences are ensured by multiple intersection of indentor trajectories.

Ø20mm cylindrical shank for fixing in the chuck.

The minimum width of the machined track burnishing is 47mm.

A plentiful supply of coolant is required. External coolant supply.

Make burnishing in a single setup with the finishing milling.

Used indentors from natural technical diamond (PA).

Recommended initial roughness Rа 1,0...0,8

Extra diamond inserts are easy to replace and available from stock.

The high quality replaceable diamond insert is ground and polished for a superior finishing and long tool life.

ST11-75 - width of the machined track burnishing is 75 mm
